Original Gloom Raiser
This classic cocktail featured in The Savoy Cocktail Book and Harry’s ABC back in the 1930’s and demanded only Nicholson Orginal Gin. We have added raspberry syrup as a fresh alternative.
Ingredients
50ml Nicholson Original Gin
15ml Antica Formula Vermouth
2 dots of Absinthe
5ml Raspberry syrup
Garnish with lemon peel
Perfect pour
Put the following in a cocktail shaker: 50ml Nicholson Original, 15ml Antica Formula, 2 dots of absinth & 5ml of raspberry syrup, shake for 10-15 seconds & then strain into a glass, split lemon garnish over liquid and run around the rim of the glass for that burst of flavour and a perfect finish.
